Development of Trade
From the earliest of times, humans traded for what they needed, but you can’t always trade chickens for bread if the baker doesn’t need chickens.
In time, we started using trinkets of value, we found the right metals. Some metals were toxic and couldn’t be used. Over time we found copper, silver, and gold. They were scarce but had enough stability of structure for both art and commerce.

The first coins, like the coins above from Lydia, were stamped and rough. Each coin had a different weight, so it had a different value, and every coin had to be weighed. This money from the stars began to evolve and great beauty was created.
